OFF TO "COLORATOE"...

It is important that I tell you about my time in Colorado because that is where it all started...my symptoms and "survival mode". For now, I want to share with you a letter I received in December of 1997. I had just completed my BS in Early Childhood Education and thus my student teaching. I had an incredible experience. Here is a goodbye letter I received from a student who knew I was moving to Colorado that month to begin graduate school.

Theresa     December 8, 1997 (third grade)

Dear Miss Hudson,
we are going to miss you when you move because you was my favite teacher and if you move I will go with you and I can help you clean up your house because at home I wish dish I switch the floor up and I make up my bed and I map the floor up to and we going to miss you to and I hope you have fun in Coloratoe to and remember when you red to us and make us do art and we hope you have a great time down thir.

I remember getting this letter and thinking, "How sad that this child just gave me a resume to be my maid. I don't know if that is tragic, funny, or sweet." I guess it was a little of all of those things.
